Just a short take on the recent MRT incident...
I think Singaporeans are so darn paranoid. just because a stupid lousy Merz driver crashed into the MRT, people start questioning about the safety standards, how barricades should be put up between the road and the MRT tracks. This kinda freak accident happens once in a blue moon and I think it's a waste of tax payers' money to build barricades becoz of this once in a lifetime accident. In any case, the lousy car driver should pay for the buildg of the barricades and I am just waiting to see how much he will be fined for reckless driving. When I first heard about this, I was so amused coz I wondered which idiot was so dumb as to drive onto the tracks and was even more amused that he got rescued in the typical hollywood movies style. Somehow, i think that Merz drivers are truly blessed, they dont die easily. anyway, i think singaporeans should be more paranoid about who gets to pass the driving test coz the drivers are the ones who cause accidents. SMRT really shouldnt be blamed for this accident. anyway, the drivers getting into accidents are getting too young! this 23 yr old driver drivin a merz? was he trying to prove dat his Merz will survive in the event that he decides to try some stunts on the road and ends up being the victim? though i cannot judge if hez really in the wrong, something tells me dat he deserves it. Well, serves him right. And i wish Sgoreans will stop being so paranoid. makes me wonder where all this paranoia comes from...
