i finally got to see LOTR 2! I'm so damn glad! As usual, I'm impressed and especially by Gollum (hope i got the spelling right). Gollum's schizo personality amused me greatly and kudos to the actor who could act it out so well. I am also amused that the hooded rider has upgraded his mode of transport from a horse to some flying creature. Cool! So what's next in III? Spaceship? I also mused over how the Be-kind-to-Mother-Earth message was transmitted so well in the show via Treebeard. hehe. He kept talking about the destruction of trees, I almost suspected that the Greenpiss (oopss i think i spelt that wrongly) organization is one of the sponsors of the show. Cool! I think this part is paced a little slower than part 1. Still, the conversations among the characters are very engaging and witty at times. I kinda thought that the way Gandalf appeared suspiciously resembled some God as he is surrounded by light. someone wondered why isn't there a healer in LOTR coz in traditional fantasy stories, there would be a healer who can heal the wounded (reminds me of the white-liter in charmed). I'm contemplating on buying the books, but that can wait after i'm done studying. Meanwhile, I shall feel miserable waiting for part 3 next yr. Damn. oh yes, I will be watching LOTR again tis sat, coz itz a free treat hehe. Cool, watching it again may help me gain more perspective into the show.
