I just turned 26 this week. Had a really great week as various groups of ppl sprang surprises on me. First, it was my ex schoolmates who sent a bouquet of lovely pink roses plus some other pink flowers (no idea what they are) to my work place and my colleagues had a visual feast on the bouquet while wondering if it was some charming prince who sent it to me :) Strangely, the senders simply ended as: From us so I kinda thought it was my bunch of close colleagues coz they started my day by wishing me a happy birthday and they were grinning in a strange way so I really thought they sent it to me. Well, I was happy. Then later in that day, my colleague came to me during lunch time and told me to wait outside the office lounge and not to come in yet so I was wondering what kinda flour or rotten eggs they would throw at me hehe. Well, I got a pleasant surprise as they led me into the lounge where a huge fluffy chocolate cake sat on the table with lit candles. My! I was so moved coz so far, the school celebrates the monthly babies together at the end of each month but this is a personal birthday celebration thrown in by my colleagues. Anyway, when it was cake cutting, my.. U should have seen the way the cake bounced up and down as I cut the cake. It was so bouncy soooo fluffy!!! Everyone was so impressed and of course, I got a big slice of it and my colleague told me that he called the cake shop and asked for the most sinful cake. haha. Anyway, they wished me a happy 80th birthday. What the hell... nevertheless, I had sucha great time that day. Of course, I left work early to celebrate again with my dearest who bought me a darn expensive jacket which looks really cool :)

Anyway, it was until the day after my birthday did my ex schoolmates sms me and ask if I got the flowers. I nearly fell off my chair as I had guessed the senders wrongly... Anyway, I simply thanked them profusely for the lovely bouquet but chided them for not putting their names down. hehe.

Then of course, there are the other ppl like my relatives and my parents giving me stuff that I like :)

Really, it was an unforgettable wk of celebration. Now, I've gotta plan how to celebrate my sis's. Am thinking of bringing her to saint julien at the fullerton waterboat house for fine french cuisine but its gonna burn a huge hole in my pocket considering how much the both of us love escargots and foie gras which are pricey there. Hope it's not more expensive than pierside kitchen which serves delectable foie gras yea... :)~~ Darn, my fat percentage's gonna shoot up... The gym... Here I come!!!

By the way, can anyone tell me if Shakespeare loves to write gay stuff. Been rather convinced that he does after analyzing merchant of venice n 12th nite. coz the bunch of 15 yr olds insist he writes gay porn and i certainly dont want them to write such stuff in the crucial exam next yr. gee...

I had a great wk this week. I was inundated with presents of all sorts, from expensive to cheap but handmade ones that exuded lots of love from my "fans" :) Then I watched the dance performance reminiscin d moon which was so aesthetically awesome with padi rice falling on the dancers, with the stage being flooded with water and lit lanterns floating on the stage. As the dancers danced in the water on the stage, the water splashed and danced so beautifully to complement the dancers' movements too! It was a heck of a beautiful sight! I've never been an ardent fan of dance performances but after hearing from my piano teacher about how it is so impt to watch this for all artistes or musicians, I decided to watch it and of course, forced my cousin to go with me, using my piano teacher's advice as a motivation to get him to accompany me. Anyway, the dance moves were so powerful! Energetic and so neat! The rhythm and singing were in sync with the dancers and every movement and song were symbolic. I was darn impressed.

Anyway, I had to perform a retro number, not just sing but also execute some retro moves, with my colleagues and my, I never expected it to be so well received. My colleagues were amazed that despite my injury blah blah, I could still groove to the music. Well, I think my legion of fans has just jumped ten fold hehe.. :P

Oh yes, I just realised how long it's been since I wrote here. Well, cant blame me considering the amt of work i've got, writing articles after articles for publishing, for coping with very depressing incidents at wrk and doing the usual admin crap.

And yes, doc gave me the green lite many mths ago that I can start wrking out tis mth on but do mild exercises. Finally can lose the huge amt of wt I piled on since I stopped exercising coz of my condition. Yay...

Woohoo~ Life's a rollercoaster of emotions :)
