The garbage bin is one of the most wonderful inventions ever. Why? Because it is a good punitive measure when you want to show your displeasure towards someone else's actions. For example, if you see a kid twirling his pen when you are talking to him and he's obviously not listening, your eyes will search for the silhouette of the bin and you start doing mental calculations for the distance and force at which you will dump his pen in. Oh well, at least I believe that my throwing skills have improved tremendously. Well, the garbage bin is also a good tool of my repertoire of "scare tactics". It is especially effective when it is used on someone younger and less powerful than you. Jealous at the kid's funky looking pen? Threaten to throw it away at the slightest provocation with the excuse that such pens simply encourage materialism. Why else is the bin the best invention? Well, the egoistic freak whose pen is tossed into the bin for some good reason will finally know the meaning of humility when he has to grovel in the bin for his fragrant-turned-stinky pen.

With the above reasons, I rest my case as to why the bin is the best invention ever :P

I had my convo today. It was fun throwing the mortar boards in the air and trying to get the photographer to catch that in action. I had to rehearse and time the throwing a few times. I even dramatised my shots by pretending to run towards my classmate with open arms while she does the same to me. Very corny indeed. I am glad that i didnt trip and fall on stage hehe coz my lecturer told me that she was waitg to see that happen to me. Gee. I had so many pics taken that i am rather dizzy from the flashes and my facial muscles are cramped after smiling for so long. The convo gown was freaking hot, it felt as if i was wearing some winter clothes. Wearing the mortar board made me feel like some empress dowager who has to wear some cumbersome headress. I was worried that it would fall off on stage as it was a little loose for my tiny head. It was great reuniting with my classmates and especially with my lecturers. I miss my lit lecturer so much. When i passed her the teachers day gift which was an incredibly cute toy monkey, she simply laughed in delight and gave me a warm hug. I am glad that the teacher-student barrier no longer exists since I can address her by her name and of course tease her :P welll i hope all the pics turn out well since it was a big day for me :)

I watched a channel U talkshow which discussed about loyalty towards one's partner. I was impressed by this taiwanese star's comment that he would not go for one on one dates with women(he is married). He is aware that there are so many temptations in the showbiz that whenever he is about to be tempted, he would remind himself that at the end of the day, he would return to his wife and family. He has a strong sense of responsibility and committment to them. I feel that such men are near to extinction. Perhaps, it is because men these days look upon relationships too lightly, they ignore the sanctity of love, they are afraid of committment and worse still, they show that they are not any better than children who are too young to shoulder responsibilities.

Women can't be blamed for being emotional or insecure at times because they have a right. They would stop being so if someday men can prove to be steady, faithful lovers. And yes, we reap what we sow. Whatever hurt we inflict on others will eventually find its way back to us and we deserve it...

Life has become an amusement park for me as I see how hypocrites do not practise what they preach. Those especially who talk about loving one another are the ones who show their love for others by backstabbing them. Others who talk about morals and upright behaviour are the ones who do not even possess any of these. It gets even funnier when they indulge in ridiculous beliefs. I definitely know that we reap what we sow and all good things that occur are attributed to our effort and not to faith. Sigh, I cant help but wonder if so many youngsters are indulging in beliefs blindly and are being slowly transformed into sheeps by certain institutions.

I do miss writing my blogs and I wish I have the luxury called time. Screw those ppl who think that ppl in my occupation are v free.
